That’s because, A.L.T. originally was founded in 1993 as a full service marketing firm working with a wide range of clients across many industries. However, we quickly established an expertise in the area of legal marketing, successfully counseling law firms on ways to generate new clients and more revenue. As a result, we made the decision to focus exclusively on the legal market.

And then something interesting happened.

Recognizing that we had achieved considerable success in being able to attract law firm clients, legal vendors of all kinds began approaching us to take on the challenge of doing likewise for themselves.

So we took that on and today, helping to promote the goods, services and even the expertise of potential expert witnesses to the legal community is a big part of what we do.

And to think…. Our first client was ourselves!

Now more than ever, we believe that there are many ways to “skin a cat” and that every provider of legal services needs to develop a customized marketing approach that leverages their strengths, the nuances of their industry and the interests of their target prospects. After all, the marketing needs of a developer of legal software are different than those of an organization that provides litigation support and even more disparate from an individual seeking to provide expert testimony on economic damages calculations in the construction industry.

Les founded the agency in 1992 as a means to provide a full range of marketing services to small and mid sized businesses across a range of industries, He quickly established an expertise in marketing to and for the legal community. Les has written articles that have appeared in a multitude of national and legal publications. He is also author of “Legal Marketing: Winning the Game They Didn’t Teach You in Law School” and “Marketing to Attorneys: Reaching the Unreachable.”


Jean Arlene

Vice President

Jean brings over 30 years of experience across a wide range of industries including marketing, banking, food service and commercial real estate industries. She is one of those unique individuals who consistently generates out-of-the-box solutions to client challenges by drawing on her understanding of how multiple marketing disciplines can work synergistically.
